The Basin Music Festival is back in March 2026!
We will be holding our 2026 event on March 20th, 21st & 22nd in the Basin Triangle and the surrounding area.
As I am sure you are aware, The Basin Music Festival is a grassroots music event showcasing new and local artists, original music, as well as crowd favorites. It brings the community and local artists together in a place where we can all share in the joy of musical performance. This event strives to provide an opportunity to members of the community from all backgrounds, to showcase talent to a wider audience through live performances, online content, and other promotional channels.
The Basin Music Festival is a registered not for profit, community-based event that is driven by volunteers and supported by our sponsors. Unfortunately, as we are a registered not for profit organization that includes a large number of acts, we are unable to pay musicians for their performances.
Please note these key dates:
- 31 December 2025 - expressions of interest close
- 31 January 2026 - applicants will have been notified if application was successful and provided with more details
- 28 February 2026 - musical program locked in and published - marketing and promotion in full swing
- 20, 21, 22 March 2026 - The Basin Music Festival (the event starts on the evening of Friday 20 March and concludes Sunday 22 March)
