Hold onto your hats as Ungus Ungus Ungus, Australia’s premier peddlers of vaudevillian psychedelia, strap you in for a rollercoaster ride of dance and mayhem. This is carnivalesque party music for the creatively inclined, traversing territory from high energy dance beats and bass to swing, jazz and hip-hop. Featuring a dynamic stage presence and a dash of seasoned carnie chaos, this cosmic circus is on a mission to make you boogie, gawp and expand your perceptual horizons. A favourite of both the electronic and folk festival circuits, their theatrical bent has taken them into the performing arts and circus worlds. Their list of appearances includes internationally regarded festivals across Australia and New Zealand, including Rainbow Serpent, Luminate, Port Fairy Folk, Cobargo Folk, Illawarra Folk, Wangaratta Jazz, Subsonic and the Western Australian Circus Festival, alongside a host of immersive parties and events. In 2023 a remix of the song Balloon from the Constellations (2021) album was released by ARIA-award winning Davide Carbone on BS1 Records, retitled Holding Me Now. The song was featured on Carl Cox’s favourite tracks playlist. UUU has a massive festival season ahead with shows at some of Australia's premier events including Woodford Folk Festival (NYE 2023-2024), Folk, Rhythm, and Life (VIC), and Lunar Circus Festival (WA).
